Lyme Advocate Call To Action! First Public TBDWG meeting of 2021

The Tick-Borne Disease Working Group (TBDWG) has announced its first public 2021 meeting!

Attendance is free online, and they are requesting comments from the community.

I strongly encourage all advocates to register for the meeting AND apply to comment to the TBDWG - you can submit either a written or verbal statement.

High attendance and personal accounts sharing our struggles getting proper testing and treatment will show Congress that Lyme disease research funding is critical to the American people.

During this online meeting, TBDWG members will focus on plans to develop the next report due December 2022 on federal tick-borne activities and research, taking into consideration the 2018 and 2020 reports.

This online meeting takes place: Thursday, August 26, 2021 - 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time
